proof
that
amongst
the
five
C’s
forming
the
core
of
Arizona’s
early
economic
success,
it

COPPER,
more
than
Climate,
Cattle,
Citrus,

Cotton,
that
has
become
the
artistic
‘ore’
for
artwork,
nostalgia,
and
inspiration.
The
exhibit
features
an
exceptional
array
of
paintings,
photographs,
textiles
as
well
as
three
dimensional
artwork
inspired
by
the
Copper
State
theme.

him

experiment

techniques

software

paintings,
sculpture,

Silver
Cities

Mexico
were
featured
in
an
exhibit
at
Borderlands
Brewing
Company,
in
the
Historic
Warehouse
Arts
District.
The
exhibit
offered
a
rare
look
into
this
emergent
art
form
as
well
as
look
at
the
rich
and
varied
architecture
of
the
1700
and
1800’s.

Program

the

the

a
variety
of
visual

The
beauty

the
sea

coastal
areas

Greece
has
inspired
artists
for
generations.
The
exhibition
featured
a
diversity
of
magnificent
scenes
found
around
Greece--ranging
from
Greek
children
playing
on
the
beaches, colorful fishing boats, and island evening sunsets.
January - March 2009 "Missions and Madonnas" Athens, Greece
The
solo
exhibit
featured
the
California
Missions
built
in
the
1700's
by
Father
Junipero
Serra
during
the
height
of
Mexico's
Colonial
period.
The
exhibit
also
included
images
of
La
Virgin
de
Guadalupe,
Mexico's
patron
saint,
as
well
as florals from the missions' gardens. The exhibit was held at the U.S. Embassy Consular Gallery.
October - Dec 2008 “Autumn Impressions” Athens, Greece
The
group
exhibition
at
the
U.S.
Embassy
featured
a
collection
of
artwork
created
by
both
American
and
Greek
artists
celebrating
the
beauty
of
Autumn.
The
exhibition
included
a
diversity
of
art
styles
and
media
in
which
each
artist had been inspired in a unique way by this colorful season.

The
solo

the
Joel
D.
Valdez
Main
Library
depicted
Tucson’s
colorful
historical
neighborhoods

representative
